Do you have a beta version of VRay for the Max 8 Beta?

I am beta testing Max 8 and would love to try it out with VRay (which is my renderer of choice, of course!).

I believe that I read on the discreet board that max7 plugins should work with max8.

technicly, beta testers are not suppose to say publicly that they are beta testing unreleased soft.

Depends on the NDA they've signed. Sometimes they can say they are beta testing it, just can't reveal anything about the features.

                That would be the case.

And no, I was not trying to brag. Just curious if there was a working build for it. I just started getting into it today.[/quote]

perhaps the easiest thing to do would be to try it? ... i could be wrong...

you would think there would be some sort of documentation that come with the beta pack that would state weather max7 plugs would work or not.

When I did beta testing for another app this certainly wasn't the case. It was a couple revisions before we got "beta" documentation, and it was very "beta" to start off with

I had just found it strange (but not surprising) that discreet/autodesk would not let the beta testers know wether the max 7 plugs would work or not. Concidering their focus is to "test" most of the inner workings of the application. Up to this point since the earliest max the plugins are/were only good for 2 revisions and max8 is the third to use plugins without a total recompile.
