  • VFB: looks from ocio configs

Are looks from OCIO already implemented in VFB in current version of VRay?

Hi, thanks for posting. Could you explain your question in a bit more details? Could you give us an example?

Organisation within ocio v2 config consists of color spaces, displays, view transforms and looks. Combination of those elements gives you the right pixels on screen. VFB (I am one or two hotfixes behind, hence the question) is missing looks input.

So for example if you grab one of reference aces ocio v2.1+ configs and load them into VFB you end up with outdated 1.2 aces view transform because 1.3 requires use of a look.

Would be nice to see VRay keeping up with standards.

Or maybe plans are to just depend on ocio support available through 3dsMax?
