  • Can you create a render element to mask by layers?

    Hi,

I'm aware that you create a crypotmatte render element to render by layers but from my reading to utilise this in Photoshop you'll have to use 32 bit format. Is there a way to create this with TIFFs at 16 bit?

So far I haven't had any luck. Is there somthing else I ca use to render masks by layer?

    Thanks.

Ah I just noticed that it saves it in the RGB channels. So maybe I don't need to sperate them all

Wrote you a script that will create a mask (MultiMatteElement) for each layer. Try it out.
