Looking for some help or tips.
Working on a new client project where i should setup a scene in 3ds max like in a endless runner game.
The stuff where everything happens on a rolling log.
I already dabbled around with a huge cylinder where everything moves on it's surface and was wondering if that's the smartest approach.
Now a friend shared me a unity technique where they can bend the whole scene with a shader?!
I'm trying to understand what's going on here, it's a vertex transformation kinda thing.
So you basically have your scene straight (would make a lot of things easier!) and then curve it with that shader trick in a second step.
Looks awesome in blender.
I have no clue if we can do that in max too? Would it be a shader thing too? (that's why i'm posting in here)
thx in advance! grateful for any tip regarding how to setup a scene like this in a smart way.
