  • Trace Sets By Material ID or By Shader?

    If I have a single object that I would like to have the top half of it not reflect a list of objects, but the bottom half of SHOULD reflect that list of objects is there any easy way to do this other than what I have been doing, which is to make two references of the object, and delete the top half for one and the bottom half for the other, and then configure the Trace Sets per object? Is there any way to control trace sets by material IDs or maps/shaders?

    This would come in handy.

    No way to do that, I'm afraid. Currently, trace sets are usable only on a per-object basis.
