hair and fur, diffuse

Hi, masters

when using hair and fur with a custom vray hair shader for hair it works fine.

In this case I have a little mouse with the hair and fur modifier with a painted diffuse for the body. It does not matter where i put the diffuse color in the hair shader, I do not get the colors.

I only get the colors on the fur if I change the settings under the effects from prim to buffer. But If I do that, its not using the vray hari shader for rendering. What am I doing wrong?

Hi, thanks for posting. I am not sure exactly what are you using.
Are you talking about the hair and fur modifier and it's custom shader slot?

Why do you need to use it? If you apply your VRayHairNextMtl to the base object it works.
