Vray Properties access via Maxscript

A simple question,

I know I can access most of the Vray Render engine options via Maxscript but, is it possible to access the Vray properties of an objet via Maxscript ?

If yes, how .

i think the actual script in there is a bit borked with respect to filenames (as it got sort of pre-empted by the max scene states stuff), but the properties stuff works fine
