  • vrscene unsupported Falloff

I'm getting a warning message when exporting a vrscene from 3dsmax. "Export problem for 'Map # (Falloff)' (Unsupported: Shadow/Light Falloff type). Do vrscene then not support this type of Falloff? Will the map then be completely disregarded or replaced will default Falloff? Is there an extensive list of supported features?
    Thanks

    Hi

Are you using GPU? Falloff map does not support Shadow/Light type in GPU.

I'm exporting a scene for Vantage. The .vrscene exporter isn't independent from Vray renderer type? I.e. if I have V-Ray GPU as renderer, the vrscene exporter will only export compatable to GPU?

It is independent, however, the GPU renderer will not be able to render unsupported features. If you render the same .vrscene in CPU it should work as expected.
