Vray camera render speed vs physics cam

Just a quick question. Why does VRay Camera render faster than max's Physics Camera?

(side question, do they have any quality differences?)

Is that so? Woiuld be weird as the max physical camera is based on chaos' code. Do you have any examples and time differences?
