  • Spherical Camera from OUTSIDE, e.g. for Sphere in Las Vegas

Trying to render a scene to map on to the Sphere in Las Vegas.

How to render a camera like this where the view is from the outside looking in?

As though we have an outer sphere outside the scene and we want to cast rays INWARD toward the scene.

This way we can map the resulting rendered image onto the Sphere properly.

    Thanks!

I think rendering with a Spherical camera (Render Setup > V-Ray > Camera > Type) with FOV 360, and then projecting normally (3ds max standard) onto a Sphere should work.
