  • Lens effect in front of background

    Hi all,

Is there a simple way on the VFB to add the lens effect so it's in front of background, cause when I render the image the background is blocking the glare. I know u can easily get the glare layer and overlay it in photoshop.

    Thanks,
    Mc

I think if you change Source layer from RGB or lightmix to Composite, then create a folder in the composite part of the stack, you should be able to drag the background layer into it, which would put it underneath the lens effects layer.

What Pixelcon said. The Background layer must be below the Lens effects to avoid this effect.

Is it possible to drag the background layer below the lens effect layer without converting the lightmix to composite? I couldn't.

Sorry to say, you can't. You can always send the LIghtMix settings "To Composite", though.
