  • Speeding Up Motion Blurred SSS

Using SSS via VRayMtl (needs to be directional due to the lighting). It often gets very slow when rendering with motion blur (subject is a fast moving bird wing with SSS). Any tricks to help make this faster? Maybe ^Lele^ has some expert insights? Anyone?

This particular project is almost wrapped, but I would like to be able to get it faster in the future. Thanks.

    Sorry I missed this one!
Without a scene it's hard to tell.
Surely that SSS mode with moblur will require a wee bit of sampling, but perhaps there may be tricks to implement to lower rendertimes at the expense of some looks?
