Anyone here use ScalpelMAX? Just thought I would check whether there was any issues with using vray and ScalpelMAX. Got a massive building to cut up, and i'm too lazy to do it with the slice modifier.

    Cheers

give it a go i say!

I havent used it, but the only thing you might end up with is hollow looking solid objects.

Let me know how you get on

I tried scalpelmax on a project a while back and lets just say that I had much better success with slice and thankfully I got a refund as I found it to be less stable than slice and better documentation with slice...

cheers dave. thata my view on this too. It looks good but im not too confident how it will cope slicing a huge building. slice modifier wont cost me nothing. Cheers for the comments guys

BTW just in case I was in no way dissing cebas software, it just could not do what I needed it to with a semi complex scene that I was working on and max's slice modifier just worked better at the time, cebas was great to deal with and let me return the product with little hassle at all which is very rare with alot of publishers these days...
