it makes sence if your doing an animation and need to save an irradiance map for a flythrough. its much quicker to use incremental add to current option using DR than just a single computer.

I hate to hear that. Distributing the lightcache would speed up everything considerably. I use it for stills and animations.

Vlado did mention today that it is possible in theory to distribute the calculation of the lightcache and to increment it .... happy days .. so hold tight we may see it in the near future..Comment
