Vray Object Properties - "VRay_Surface_Priority = 0&quo

I was looking at the object properties under the User Defined tab and I noticed that there is on property, "VRay_Surface_Priority = 0", which you don't have access to form the VRay properties dialog.
Does anybody know what that would be and why is it not accesible from the dialog?
