  • vray proxies

I have a scene that has many vray proxy objects. They are cars, now the client has changed the street layout. I have hundreds of cars and now some of them are on the sidewalk which I don't think is what the clients wants to see. I would like to be able to either convert the cars back to mesh or be able to select indiv. cars and move those. Or is this not possible?

    Thanks

If you had kept each car as a proxy instead of all of them as one, you could have arranged them, and had them ready to go as a library for other scenes.

Not sure if it will work on a huge mesh but you can try the converter found here http://www.chaosgroup.com/forum/phpB...ghlight=vrmesh

Yeah I see that now. it's a site plan with very little detail and I only have 2 different car types with a material by element mod applied. It worked well till now.

        Thanks RErender that worked perfectly.
