I'm confused about some of the benchmarking numbers I'm seeing for Vray. Vergefio has a similar system to mine -- Opteron 275s... except his are slightly overclocked. Yet, he's getting render times which are 30% faster than mine.
The only other difference I see is that he's benchmarking on the version 1.47.17 or somewhere around there. Any clues as to what is causing such a disparity?
Oh -- there is one other difference, I'm running Win x64 and he's on Pro. I've read that 64 actually can slow down 32 bit software slightly -- but again, that wouldn't explain the huge differences in times.
