  • Need help with window sheer material

I'm having trouble creating a window sheer material that I need to put in front of a stained glass window. An example of the material I'm trying to replicate can be found at http://www.lnt.com/largeImage/index....p1103450dt.jpg

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Notice I kept the frivolous banter to a minimum.

RErender, The images from the link are incredible. Inspiring, actually. Thanks for responding. Now I guess I must ask for yet another favor. Being a lowly Viz user, I can't open the files. Is there any kind soul willing to extract the materials for me or post a screenshot of the settings?

(RErender: Yes, I did notice, thanks.)

I was just about to take exception to the "Fix you damn model" and "Constructive enough for ya" statements until I saw that you're from Australia, and finally I understand. So many thanks for the reply DaForce. And you can banter any time you want. As the great philosopher once said, "Australia is entirely peopled with criminals..." Vincini, The Princess Bride

I'm just getting back to the sheer curtain and would like to know if the 3D object in the model has thickness or was it a surface object?

                      Thanks again.

Well here is that model in 3ds format.
It looks like a plane which was shaped like a curtain and animated to open.

                          DaForce,

I appreciate your help very much. The material worked great after making my drapes a surface. It didn't work with thickness. And I take back what I said about Australia and criminals.
