  • Viz 2005 and Maxtreme

    Has anyone used these together?

The help file docs that come with Maxtreme state that they are compatable, But when I go to viewport prefrences, the "choose Driver" selection is greyed out.

You need a Quadro card to use Maxtreme.

That aside, Maxtreme is fairly buggy, and never up to date with Max/Viz and the video drivers. It's a great product in theory, but it seems like the development team doesn't actually work on it.

      I have a Quadro4 980 XGL.
I've installed the latest driver fom Nvidia. I was told by someone that I should be using Maxtreme, soI wanted to try it to see if I could see a Diffrence.
Thanks for the heads up about the buggyness.

        i'm using maxtreme 7 with viz2005.
there is an issue that once you've configured it for the first time you can't change the settings again which is annoying, but i don't remember having a problem getting it to work in the first place.

i might well be that maxtreme's not compatible with the latest drivers from nvidia or something...
