odd lighting on high GI settings

    arrgh...
    problem is still happening
    I recreated the file, only vray mats, re-did the lights. fully checked all my geometry.

    I thought I cracked it but the problem came back, it doesn't seem to happen with low (>200) LC values, but sometimes ok at higher???
    Not able to work this out, I've tried excluding glass from the GI.

    Going for QMC now

      As follow up the problem has been solved, by Nikki (big thanks)

      It was down to
      1. When using Camera Correction Modifier, always CHECK OFF the ShadeContext compatibility in the Vray System rollout
      2. Glass materials, which have Falloff maps in the reflection channels need CHECK ON in the Override Material IOR in the Falloff options.

        Ahh, two long standing 'common knowledge' issues. There really should be a sticky somewhere with this stuff in it.
