  • dovraymeshexport() command line

    hi vlado..i know someone asked about this before in 2004, and the response was "in one of the next releases"

    anyway, question is, can i export a proxy object to a specified file, directly from maxscriopt without loading the proxy export window?

    i.e dovraymeshexport -filename"c:/mymesh.vrmesh"

    (i actually lifted this from a vray for maya guide on how to make vray meshes in maya) but it doesnt seem to work in max....

    ideally id like a breakdown of all the commands /syntax for controlling vray proxy objects in maxscript... where could i find this info?

    thanks for your help!

    Currently the only command for proxies in the 1.47.03 build is doVRayMeshExport() which brings up the familiar dialog. More commands are indeed added in later builds.

    Best regards,
    Vlado
