Could we get an option to convert Architectural Materials?

    For Revit dwg linking...

BTW: When is the next build due?

guesses for the next build are as follow: when it's done

you might wish to go fetch a few old posts in the forums about it, anyways...
The question is being asked roughly three times a day :P

I dont think this would work too well because the Architectural Materials are mostly actually raytraced materials.

If you name your materials the same in both Revit and Max/Viz you can link your file then open your Max/Viz library and press the 'update materials from library' button. Voila, all your architectural materials are replaced with VRay materials. Works for ADT anyway.

but materials from revit come into MAX with that long, weird nomenclature...it does not really just take the Revit material names...

          thanks

Giovanni, can you make your own materials in Revit?

yes you can, but again, in MAX they get translated into a list of architectural materials with a weird name....not handy.
