question about GI and boolean

Hi i dont know how to formulate the question but i want to show something and if someone knows i would preciate an explanation.

first the wire i have maked a clean modell as you can see on the left, on the right is another modell and as i assume made with boolean.

second the rendering both objects have the same material R:230 G:230 B:230 but the resault is totaly different.

my is more clean and as you can see the GI have reached also inside the holes the other is more dark and the GI dont reach good inside the holes.

why is it so?

cause they look like different rgb to me....

is the mesh divided on the tops, or just one plane?

Looking at the scene would be best, it's hard to say what's wrong right away.

Ok now i heard is a cad modell i think this is the problem

It could be a smoothing issue. What happens if you clear the smoothing groups from all the polygons in subobject mode?

i merged the modell in new scene and made reset x form and changed the smoothing groups like you said Frances and it is working

lol its most likely normals are different on one model then on the other.
