  • Creating pipeline for DR ?

Is there a way to create a pipeline or task etc. where it´s possible to render several images (for example over night) one after the other with DR ? Withing standing beside and waiting and without the stripe option in backburner !

    scripting it should work
other than that, maybe batch render?

I haven't tried this but couldn't you send the renders to BB with DR enabled. In BB, set the scheduler or unassign all but one of the renderfarm machines to process the images. This way BB will see only one machine and DR will see all of the machines, thus avoiding any DR overlap. BTW, this would work in VIZ as well which is good because stripe rendering isn't an option (at least in VIZ 2005).

      Just a thought...

hmmn, that would be a nice way to exclude ones own workstation from dr
but i have my doubts if it works

Anyone with a decent farm care to try it?
