Masking Question

Hi everyone, I just finished rendering a sequence of clips for our promotional video, and am experiencing some annoying flickering due to the low render settings i put. I was wondering if i could possibly mask out the things that are flickering and then render them again, and composite them in after effects?

Looks like it could be solved with cached irmaps and lcmaps? Alternatively as you said you could select all of the 3d objects that render fine and use the vray properties to make them into matte objects with alpha contribution -1 so they have the effect of cutting out themselves - you'll be left with a render with only the objects you are re-rendering which should overlay fine in after effects.
