  • Jell-o Material???

Any good tips on how to achive a good "jell-o" type material, intent is to use it in a conceptual massing design.

Also any advice in how to get transclucent self-lighted material in vray?

I am trying to get a "ghost" type look, sort of transculcent or ephemeral look to the massing elements, the ones that we want attention with self illumination or some sort of interior illumination and then the rest of the background buildings "ghosted-out"

    Thanks

Read this to get the hang of fog - http://www.joconnell.com/view_stuff.php?view=8 and then turn on the translucency options - you'll need GI and vray shadows on your light sources for the translucency to work. For jello you might be able to get away with using fog and glossy refractions depending on what look you want.
