Vray + Viz2007

Hey everyone. I did a search but could not come up with anything definite, so here goes: Is anyone running Viz2007 + Vray Advanced (latest version)? I heard there could be problems with compatibility such as the real world mapping just like in Viz2006. Any other problems? I have it sitting on my shelf right now and am considering upgrading from 2006.

I just installed Viz 2007 and the latest version - first render, a few maps were missing. I enabled bitmap paging, then it was fine. I don't use the real-world scale though, so I don't know if there's any problems with it yet.

Of course, now that I've installed Viz 2007 my Viz 2006 won't load anymore.

We have requested a copy of VIZ 2007 to test here; before that we cannot say anything. There *shouldn't* be problems, but you never know.

hi, about my experience with viz2007, i only have problems in the first day i install viz7 with textures, after that i configure the vray DR and the tests i run i din´t have any error with textures until now.i hope this problem is gone forever.

Thanks everyone for your responses. In 2006 I have been able to get away with using all standard materials (except glass) and all maps are rendering fine. I hope AutoDesk an provide a permanant fix for us.

To turn on Bitmap Pager go into the preferences and click on the rendering tab. On the bottom right side clickk the button and viola.

I did enable pager and still have missing maps. I also tried unchecking show calculations, and still no luck.
