Alpha fuzz

Hi

When rendering out and animation as a tif sequence with the alpha channel, then compositiong it in After Effects - the edge of the alpha is fuzzy or aliased. Usually this is not a problem at higher resolutions but at video res (720x576) it is very noticable.

How would I get rid of this ?

Try premultiplying the alpha in after effects. Typically u want to premultiply it using black. It depends on the background color you used when rendering on max. To premultiply, go to the footage, interpret footage and look for the premultiply alpha section...if i dont remember it incorrectly... I' m a combustion user
