  • Viz 2007

    Hi,

Been reading lots of threads both here and on CG Architect regarding Vray and Viz. I saw a response recently from Vlado saying that he had got Viz 2007 for testing. One subject that was discussed stated that the problem Viz 2006 had with materials only related to the use of real world scaling, and if this was avoided there was no problem....is this correct?

So, I received Viz 2007 via my subscription a few weeks ago but still do no know whether I can use the latest build (with all its fab new features) of Vray.

Could someone shed some light on this for me.

    Thanks in advance,

    Trev

      Thanks mmikee,

Saw that one................doesn't really help though! I want to be able to use the latest version and need to know if I can or do I have to stay with the earlier version I got for Viz 2006?

AFAIK 1.46.15 is the only reliable version for viz 2007 at the moment.

Indeed. I just tested 1.47.03 on Viz2007 as well. On one machine it works but not on the other. I have 8 more to test....

          I reverted back to 1.46.15 for Viz2006 and 2007

I have been using the one on the website. 1.47.03. I havent had any problems with viz 2007 yet. But I cannot promise this. I dont know if mine is a special case, or Im just lucky so far.
