VisMasters DVC?

I'm wondering if anyone is planning to attend the VisMasters Conference. There is a Vray user group meeting scheduled. Is this open to everyone?

No offense to anyone running it, but $375 is pretty expensive to watch people talk. It's one thing if you're going to gain business out of it, but I have a suspicion you'll walk away empty-handed as they're all people doing the same thing as you.

I'd rather blow $60 at a bar for food and drink and talk shop in a more controlled setting with fellow Vray'ers and Vis people. Alot of the people up for this will also be attending Siggraph.
