  • photometric / ies lights

so ive been scouring the forum found lots of posts, but am still having little luck. ive found the tutorial by natty, and my images end up so much different. i end up with a very bright spot at the top and almost no light lower. i have respect native units in files set to 1 unit = 1 inch. and display units are feet/inches. is this the way it should be?

ive noticed other people posting with this problem, but their pleas seem to be ignored with the statement "always model to scale" well my model is to scale and i would love some help on this issue.

thanks any help would be appreciated

You need to scale the light, not sure what units they come in at offhand though.

did a quick test, it definitely has an affect on the intensity of the light. but after lowering the intesity it does end up spreading the ovrall effect.
