    I think it would be fantastic if it was truly a WYSIWYG type thing for Vray. But could it really accurately calculate in real-time what it might take Vray several hours to render?

        From what I understood of the thread, GI support is still a ways off, meaning you are not going to get anything near final out of it. Real time shadow casting would be helpful, although not really imperative IMO. If they(redway) can find a way to pre-calc a quick(10 seconds max) IRR or LC solution for viewport rendering, even without displaying final images it would expand the functionality of VRay so much. After all, both teams seem to be focused on the same goal...a faster, better quality output.
