If you have filled a dongle request form, you should have received an email about this. If not, you can do so now (but it will probably have to wait until after the week-end anyways). If you have filled in a request, you email server may have bounced the email back and you'll get a copy of it a little later since this has to be sorted out by hand here. Otherwise, you can also email me to vlado@chaosgroup.com for more details.

I think not. Maybe this is version based thing, so RC2 will work, but RCx won't. As it not really "virtual".

I guess you're right.

It will probably work at least until the final 1.5 is released. After that, we will not support the software license for people who have already received their dongles.

i 've received an email from someone from chaos, but all it said was : hello gregory.
there was no attachements to this mail so i did not think twice about it.
i thought it was just a mistake.
if i had read these posts i could have been working with 1.5 instead of 1.46. /???/

Hi Vlado,

Does V-Ray 1.50.R2 work with Max 7? On the Chaos Group download page for V-Ray builds, the Download Installation only indicates max80.

Thanks for providing a way to use this version while waiting for the dongle.
