Vray 1.5 for max 7.0 or 6.0 ?

Will there be a version of Vray 1.5 for max 7 ? Because we are a small studio and we don't want to upgrade our unique max version to 8.0 only to use Vray 1.5...

I don't like the autodesk policy of "subscription" or "upgrades" that are actually making all the files from studios who are working with an old version of Max obselete... For me, this is called racket They should be woking in improving fixes for the repetitive crashes that affect their program and that has already made me lost DAYS of work !

Ps: i am sorry if this question has already been asked or answered, i search the forum but didn't find an explicit answer...

the 1.5 is for max 6-7-8

mmmh, where do you find the install for max 7 ?

In the chaosgroup support/vraybuild screen, I only see a stable build for max80 ... Maybe it's hidden somewhere ?

the one you find there works for all version, except max5

The exact same build will work fine with max6 and max7 as well.

Thanks mate, I finally found the problem I had with Max 7 & 1.5 was a directory path problem and not a compatibility problem !
