  • setting shutter speeds to more than 1 second

    how do you / can you set the shutter speed to a greater value than 1 second?

    I'm working on an internal shot of a dark nightclub, and want to set the shutter speed to be something like 4 seconds of exposure.
    How can this be achieved with the current settings?

    (unfortunately) I'm not a photographer, so does anyone have a good reference guide for how you can adjust the exposure settings properly? I've been using this; but have found it a little hit and miss.

    You should be able to set the shutter speed to values of less than one to get longer exposure times.

    For example:
    .5 = 2 seconds
    .25 = 4 seconds
    .1 = 10 seconds

    Cheers!
