I certainly wouldnt call this a heavily moderated forum, not by a long shot, which is what makes it unique I guess, as well as the whacky regulars (myself included). So kick back, relax and enjoy the ride
I have seen a few people having problems when opening scenes made pre-RC2 it causes crashing and things when using the vraycamera, lights and sun (perhaps) And simply deleting them and recreating them will fix the problem normally.
Have you tried to download Paul Oblomov's optimized scene? Might be a better start for you.
Also if your using max8, be sure to be patched up to SP3.
