Is there a way to isolate the lines rendered by the Vraytoon effect on their own g-buffer channel/element?

Also, is the sampling method/quality the only way to control the quality and continuity of the rendered lines?

    Thanks - Dave

You can render it on matte objects

      Thanks Eric,

I guess I'll try that even though it requires an extra render step in my process. I'm currently using 1.47.03 - Do you know if 1.5 has any features that might allow for an all in one render plus isolation pass?

      Thansk again - Dave

Yea, the ability to have a channel for render-atmosphere's would be good.

There is an VrayAtmosphere render element. Only semi usefull though since it takes the geometry's alpha. If you did not need the alpha of the base geometry then you can set it's alpha contribution to -1 and you will just get the alpha of the toon effect and be able to render it all in one pass.
