  • Saving a RPF with channels from Vray FrameBuffer

    Hi!

I´ve noticed that vray wont let u save an output from 3dsmax save dialog and, at the same time, from vray frame buffer section "Save separate elements". I would like to get a RPF with some channels inside it (NodeID, Zbuffer) and, at the same time, reflection, refraction, global illumination, etc layers. I cant figure out the way to do that in one pass, as the RGB-color element u are getting from Vray frame buffer output has no elements embedded.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks!

With rpf's, I dont think you need to use anything from the elements rollout, when you pick the location of the file you get to check which passes are included.

Check this with single frames first, but i'm pretty sure the elements rollout is only for saving/viewing as seperate passes whereas rpf's are self contained.
