Cant obtain a license with xp64

I just got a new Macpro and am now running xp64. I got MAX up and running (very very smooth BTW) and now the only thing holding me back is that I cant obtain a license. I confirmed the license server is up and running and made sure that vray is working on another machine. I made sure that the Server IP and the connection port are the same as the machine with functioning Vray.
I was reading in another thread that the dongle drivers might be the problem but I'm not using dongles. I'm using the temporary fix provided by chaosgroup.
Please help. I'm anxious to benchmark the MacPro....oh and get some work done too.

i figured it out.
i had to override the cgauth60.dll file in the "3ds max for x86" folder with the one chaos supplied. For the other machices i just overrided the one in the root max directory.
