Below is the link for the rendeirng with the metal panels that I am having trouble with. As you can see I can't seem to get his looking the way I wan't it. the metal panels dodn't look very realistic. The cars look way better than the building.

I have attached an image below which shows that I can make materials look somewhat real and my main problom is with metalic metal panles.

hre's an example of a rendering I did with wood natrual materials. I think I did a better job here representing the materials:

Can any one help or have ideas akbout making the first rendering (the metal building) look more realistic?

res3d - i think the main problem is the lighting. Are you going for a "day" shot or a "dusk" shot? The image with the metal is very dark but it has some hevy shadowing.

I'm going for a day shot. Is my background not matching the lighting?
      what do you reccomend?

i think you just need to do some photochop on it.

I have attached a quick levels adjust in photochop.
