Can you change the specular highlight without effecting the reflection?

What I want to do is keep the reflection (relatively) the same, but change the highlight color to either be some sort of color, or in this case be just less white. I'd rather it not be completely blown out in this case.

    Anyone know if that's possible?

I'd kinda like a way, similar to a standard material, to change the specular color and reflection seperate. So basically the reflection value of the specular color would be different.

    use a vrayblendmat

Put your material in the base slot with no traced reflections. Just set up the specular you want.

Then put a traced reflection (like a gloss) on it and adjust it to get the amount of reflection you want.

that's kinda what I was thinking, but it would be nice to have something that was already built into the material. I guess, since I don't do it that often it's not that important.

Thanks for the reply. That'll work.
