I'm doing an interior scence and when I put the glass in the scene I'm having trouble getting the light to pass through. Here's two seperate images one is a rendering with the glass (it's darker) and one without, (it's lighter). Even though the glass is not shown in theis view I need it because I will have a view looking the opposite direction.
What I want is the GI light to pass through to the interior scence through the glass
here a brief on the settings of my glass:
diffuse: black
refelct: white
reflect gloss: 1.0, ferenl: 3.0
subdiv: 30
refraction: white (pure)
ior 1.001
max depth: 5
checked: use interp
cheched: affect shadows
checked affect alpha
translucency: nonce
duoble sided
reflect on back side
gi is multiplied to 30
theres a vray sphere light in scene but it should not be hitting the interior due to the high eaves. it is set to 15
