  • motion blure with a still rendering

How do I do motion blure with a still rendering. I want to simulate people waling at night taken with a camera at slow shutter.

I also want to use the motion blure for the streaks of car lights in the street.

    anybody?

for the people they will need to be moving just like in an animation.

for the car lights they need to be moving plus the MB subdivisions need to be set very high to get the effect. Better to do it in photoshop.

If their going to be blured I would be tempted to do this in post as it would prob be much faster and easier to tweek the amount of blur..

I would do it in post...but if ya don;t want to...at least the car streaks could be one with the kye_trails plugin directly in MAX. And really you could take the people maps into PS and motion blur them....opacity too...then remap them onto planes in MAX.
