  • Proxy Maps?

Hi there, I'm trying to render a large scene, with lots of high detailed trees really close to the camera, displacement. What happens is that only machines with 4 gb of memory can render this scene, I'm already using dynamic memory management and Vray Proxys for the leaves and discarded the displacement for all tree trunks but still no luck. I was trying to avoid rendering in different passes...

So what I wanted to ask is if it is possible for us to have some kind of proxy but for maps? Because Vray always loads the maps into memory and maybe there's a way of treating maps just like Vray handles Vray mesh proxys... just a thought... Any comments would be appreciated, thanks in advance.
