Have you thought about getting a subscription for MAX..... works out less expensive if you upgrade every version....

yeahh....i m just waiting for other options....
max is way too expensive regarding the use we give it in everyday tasks here...i ditched subscription this year cause the updates and versions rn t significant for their value!...my 2cents anyway...

This is a great idea - what makes it even more appealling if we post all our scene's after they have been tricked out - like Erik - then we can dig into each others setting for really real - I better get a tweaking

This is as good as I got... left = non sRGB right = sRGB.... is it possible to save the sRGB corrected image in 8 bit out of the Vray Frame Buffer - at the mo I save as HDR and convert in PS.

Duplicate the FB image to the max VFB, this should give you an sRGB-like result, provided the max gamma is set to 2.2.
That's what i did with my own (a bit of a hack, agreed. i'm all ears for a better way) file.
