I'm trying really hard to generate a separate set of frames to use as motion vectors with ReelSmart motion blur.
Every time I try to render out a separate Render Element with Vray Velocity I just get a solid medium grey render.
If I use the mental ray renderer with the standard max Velocity render element (the method is detailed on RS's website), I get an RGB motion vector image, but so far I'm seeing absolutely nothing when trying to do the same thing with VrayVelocity in Vray.
Does the vrayvelocity channel generate visible output -- or is it only a type of embedded information?
Can RGB motion vectors be produced directly with Vray at all?
