What does ignore z do in vrayvelocity?

  • #2
i havent tried it my self, but theoreticly it will not write the motion of the object to move towards or away from the camera. This is because, the motion vectors have the hardest time with objects moving straight on or away from camera. By removing the z vector, only X and Y will be stored color wise into the channel.

Yeah, that makes sense. It seems like Reelsmart ignores Z values anyway.
