Extremely distorted Strips in BB

The farm is turning out very distorted strip images. They seem to be stretched vertically dramatically. The scene renders fine from my machine. I have had this happen once or twice before but have not had time to troubleshoot the problem.

Has anyone else had this or something similar happen with BB and strips? When the image finishes I'll post the result. I thought maybe it had to do with the MaxCompatible camera setting in the System rollout. But it does not make sense that it renders fine on my machine in single frame mode... Deadline looming!

Vray VFB doesn't seem to save cropped images correctly over BB, try to untick "Enable build-in Frame Buffer" from VRay options, and save the image though the common render output.

i think i had read that before... long ago. I ended up rendering on my workstation. That was the frustrating part is that it rendered fine on my machine but was jumbled on the farm.
