I always wanted to look into but never find the time.....now I did, but am not sure about something. Can this be used for a frosted glass effect? I looked at the on-line help pages, but was only more confused. If this can be used for frosted glass, what would be the correct setup? Thanks.

Whats wrong with just refraction glossiness?

I thought the purpose of fastsss was to much quicker than refraction gloss? Thought it could be useful for an animation?

Maybe faster than trancelucency ? Fastsss is kinda of a light emitter.

You cannot use the fastsss in this way; it does not do real refraction.
