  • panorama images of cities by night

    Hello people,

I had a question and would be best to post it here in an community as advanced as this one.

Has anybody heard of/ seen medium to large scale(resolution) images of cities by night. This can be on a commercial cd/downloadable or just normal photos... preferably panoramic/wide or even 360 images.

If you know anything thats good, please let me know

    Thanks for the help already,

    Greetings,

    Niels Sinke

It looks like I can help you again Nelis

I just made some (cylindrical) panorama's for my school assignment. I'll mail you the best one. But it might not be the cityscape you're looking for. What kind of image do you have in mind? Open space? Narrow street?...

Let me know and I'll make one here in Ghent. I just got my panorama head so I have to test it out anyway

I've put the best one I made for my school assignment online.
However it's not the most interesting view to use for renders. It's a dull site next to the water, at the edge of the city. Don't expect high-rise buildings too..
Well... see for yourself what you can do with it

I'll make some other ones (read: more interesting ones) this week and post them on six4one. It's gonna be in ghent (belgium) where I study, so you can be expecting views of a rather historical citycenter, aprox. 6 storey buildings.

I would really appreciate C&C on the panos, as you all have eagle eyes regarding image quality
The one I allready posted has some flaws, certain areas are a bit blurry, some very slight stitch issues and my tripod is visible.

For panos of highrise building cities, this link might be interesting.
